Rogues' Memories - Adventures with Rex Wotton

Rogues' Memories - Adventures with Rex Wotton. Rex Wotton was one of the most   charming Rogues of Barbados. His spirit of fun and sharp wit enveloped every circumstance.  He was independent at an early age and often took off for days at a time, to camp along the banks of Joes’ river, catching crayfish to survive. He built campfires from coconut husk and twigs and cooked his catch with breadfruit, wild herbs, plantain, and edible vines. He ate mangoes, and local berries like fat pork, and sea grapes, that grow along the beach.

For example: Once when somebody threw a beverage at him, he quickly discarded the components of a wine bucket over their head. At another time when ridiculed by a comedian that made a saucy remark regarding him, he returned the disrespect by stealing away the comics' famous eco-friendly bowler hat. Straight past safety, and security and the doorman, he walked with a defiant air and his seductive smiling chuckle.

He was a commanding high-energy figure at 5 feet 8 inches, trim and fit, with untidy, tan coloured hair and steel-blue eyes. Never fond of formal exercises; he did not run, jog, push weights, or do any prescribed

He would invariably not let much pass him and constantly returned any disrespect with a dual measure of the same, but, the retort was always delivered with charm He seldom showed anger, however it prepared when needed.
